Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a man on Boshalgaon border under Haripur upazila of the district early yesterday.
The victim, aged around 35, could not be identified.
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and police sources said the Indian border guards of Baragaon camp opened fire on an unidentified person when he went near pillar no 351 at around 12:30am, killing him on the spot.
Immediately after the incident, the BSF personnel took away the body.
