5 Bangladeshis picked up by BSF

Indian Border Security Force picked up five Bangladeshi nationals from borders in Sunamganj and Thakurgaon on Saturday night and on Sunday.

BSF members picked up four Bangladeshis when they were collecting woods along Laurergarh border in Tahirpur upazila on Saturday night.

Local BGB confirmed this.

The four are: Pahar Ali, 40, Shukur Ali, Nayeb Ali, 50, and Shahjahan Mia, 50.

Meanwhile, BSF soldiers picked up a Bangladeshi from Dabri border in Haripur upazila on Sunday morning.

The man was identified as Imani Hossain, 32, of Geuradangi village of the upazila.

Commander of 30 Battalion BGB Lt Colonel Abu Bakkar said the BSF soldiers of Phulbari camp captured Imani while he was trying to enter India at 9am.
