Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi cattle trader at Bhaigarh border in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Akim Uddin, 18, son of late Kafat Ullah of Chawksulban village in the upazila, our Dinajpur correspondent reports.
BDR sources of Phulbari 40 Battalion said the BSF members from Sreerampur camp of India fire about three bullets toward Bangladesh territory and the victim died on the spot.
After the killing, BSF took away the body in the Indian Territory.
Meanwhile, BDR sent a protest letter to the BSF for the killing. They also urged its counterpart to return the body.
