BSF kills 2

Indian Border Security Force shot dead two Bangladeshi cattle traders on Bujruk border in Thakurgaon early yesterday.
The deceased are Nur Islam, 28, and Moktar Dai, 27, of Haripur upazila, said Major Muntasir Mamun Siddique, operations officer of Border Guard Bangladesh, Dinajpur-2.
Around 4:30am, BSF men of Borra camp opened fire on a group of cattle traders, among whom were the two, when they were returning from India with cattle, he added.
Nur Islam and Moktar died there and then. The others escaped unhurt.
BSF members took the bodies immediately, said Muntasir.
The two forces met in the afternoon at a company commander-level meeting, where the BGB protested at the killings and asked for the bodies.
BSF personnel said they would hand over the bodies on completion of some formalities.
